PRODUCT AVAILABILITY AND PRICING
All prices are indicated in American Dollor. If you’re interested in a piece of jewellery that is currently on back order, call us and we can tell you when the item will be back in stock. Sometimes with the volume of orders we receive, an item can go out of stock before we’re able to post notification to the site. If this happens, we will notify you personally so we can help you find another item. Infrequently, data, including prices, may be inaccurately displayed on our site due to system or typographical errors. While we make every attempt to avoid these errors, they may occur. We reserve the right to correct any and all errors when they do occur and we do not honour inaccurate or erroneous prices. If a product’s listed price is lower than its actual price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping the product or cancel the order and notify you of such cancellation. If the order has been shipped, you agree to either return the product or pay the difference between the actual and charged prices. Our prices are also subject to change without notice. SALES AND PRICE REDUCTIONS
AtBenguela Diamonds, we always offer the best value by providing the lowest possible price. We do not negotiate prices on our products and all of our prices are final.
IMPORTER OF RECORD
When ordering from Benguela Diamonds, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Title and risk of loss for items ordered will transfer to the recipient upon delivery to the recipient.Prior to delivery to the recipient, the shipment may be subject to customs fees, import duties, taxes, and other charges of the destination country where applicable. These charges are always the recipient’s responsibility. For further details, read about Customs, Duties and Taxes.
At the moment we only offer Direct Bank Transfer. Soon also PayPal & Credit Card.
All shipments are fully insured. That means that your order is always shipped risk-free. A fee of 2% of the value of your order will be applied during the checkout process. This insurance protects your order from the time it leaves Benguela Diamonds to when it arrives at your door. For added security, a signature may be required upon delivery of your Benguela Diamonds orders. Please make arrangements for someone to be available at the shipping destination to sign for receipt.
When you order a loose diamond, we ship it to you with the accompanying diamond grading report (also called a diamond certificate). These grading reports are detailed documents created by diamond grading experts at one of two highly-respected diamond laboratories – making it very expensive to replace a diamond grading report. Because of this, we require each diamond grading report to be included should you wish to return a diamond. If you do not include the diamond grading report, you will be charged a replacement fee.
CUSTOMS, DUTIES AND TAXES
The customs office of the destination country may impose customs fees, import duties, taxes, and other charges to your international order where applicable. These additional charges required for customs clearance are the responsibility of the recipient. When your order arrives at customs either our shipper, FedEx, or the customs office will contact you directly to arrange for the payment of any charges that may be due. Please be advised that Benguela Diamonds has no control over these charges. The actual amount charged by customs may differ from the rates below. Country of origin information for your order can be provided by our Diamond and Jewellery Consultants to assist in estimating import duties. Please contact your local customs office for further details.
ORDER CANCELLATION & RETURN POLICY
Benguela Diamonds offers customers 30 days from the day their order is shipped to cancel or return their order. If you wish to cancel or return your purchase, simply call us at +27 21 882 9002 or +27 82 33 66935 for a return authorisation code and instructions. Note that once your item has shipped, your order cancellation will take effect after a) it is returned to Benguela Diamonds, and b) our Quality Assurance analyses your diamond and verifies that it is in its original condition.
To keep our prices low, we do not allow comparison purchasing. Comparison purchasing is the act of buying several of the same item, keeping the one you like best, and then returning the remainder. This causes undue restocking and inventory overhead and can be very costly. We proudly adhere to and enforce the standards established by the Kimberley Process, an international system that polices the trade of diamonds to ensure they are from sources free of conflict.
